My daughter got to take part in a Maypole Ribbon Dance! How fun. They were also having a school play and so she had a toga on for that. It was so much fun to watch her, dressed up, doing this dance!
Other years we have given out May Baskets.

Favorite cleaning tip?
Keeping one spray bottle of vinegar and one spray bottle of hydrogen peroxide. Spray them on a surface together & wipe clean...kills more germs than bleach! We use it for everything!
I had an interesting May Day. I was telling my kids about the traditions I did growing up in Ireland. This led to us doing something similar which resulted in a very unexpected and emotional discovery. I wrote about it here if you would like the detailed version...
